The day after

Everyone is playing in the snow today, particularly on the hill by the side of our house. We got about 6 inches overnight, then freezing rain, so there's a crust. We might get a couple more inches this afternoon.

Amazing how the snow makes things looks so spaced out--the divisions that normally make up our lives like grass vs. sidewalk vs. street are gone. Of course, I suppose wide angle lenses help a bit too.

That's actually a stitched pan, which is what made it look so weird (not that snow around here isn't weird enough looking)
