Listening again, the Rode picks up a lot of noise from contact with camera, it appears. The Sennheiser seems to have better immunity to this. Many EV mikes have this characteristic (contact noise immunity), compared to the Shure SM58 which seem to pick up more hand holding, noise, etc. We prefer the EV at church and school.
